Description
Job Summary:
The Electronics Engineering Technician is responsible for identifying and repairing of electronics equipment and assemblies. They will calibrate and perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems. The Electronics Engineering Technician must have the ability to read and interpret schematics and test documentation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluate electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry
- Complete component level troubleshooting and repair
- Troubleshoot and repair electronics assemblies and circuit card analysis
- Maintain records and documentation relating to the ongoing completion of projects
- Maintaining Database with accurate and correct information
- Ensure that work complies with all safety and company requirements

- Ability to perform complex Circuit Card Assembly, Power Supply, and Avionics troubleshooting and repair
- Ability to perform component level troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuit card assembly
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics, including the understanding of the function of each electronic component
- Ability to Solder and perform PCB rework
- Familiar with Electronics hardware design and test documentation
Education/Experience Requirements:
Preferred associate’s degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in a workshop environment and requires the ability to operate measurement/test equipment and hand tools. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and fingers. Ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboard. Ability to travel between campus buildings.
