As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical and strategic link between world-class research organizations and our cutting-edge RF solutions. You’ll collaborate with national labs, scientific institutions, and advanced technology companies, helping them achieve their mission-critical goals. What You’ll Do
- Engage with leading research institutions (national labs, universities, and scientific organizations) to understand their technical challenges and propose tailored RF solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers through site visits, technical discussions, and strategic consultations.
- Translate complex requirements into responsive proposals and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver solutions.
- Represent Microwave Techniques at industry conferences and trade shows, showcasing our expertise in high-power RF systems.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities in scientific and high-energy physics sectors.
- Maintain CRM data and sales forecasts, ensuring accurate visibility into the sales pipeline.
What You Bring
- Technical foundation: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or RF Engineering—or equivalent experience in high-energy physics, accelerator technology, or scientific research environments.
- Experience with scientific or research organizations (e.g., DOE labs, fusion research, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel (20–30%) for customer engagement and industry events.

Work Location & Schedule
Position can be remote/hybrid depending on experience and existing location. Travel to the Gorham, ME location is required for customer visits, sales meetings, and technical training. General business hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
